    Wait for an ODIS fork?

I have been building up a jabberwocky all winter. The only part I have left to buy is the fork. Would you guys wait and buy a matching ODIS or would you just throw on something with similar dimensions?

The salsa cro-moto is only 1 mm longer with the same rake. Would I even notice this. I really want to ride this thing.

I have an ODIS on my Bander and like it just fine. that said, I wouldn't let the unavailability of one keep me from riding. The Salsa matched up well. You won't notice the extra 1 mm of A-C length. Plus, the Salsa forks are cheaper.
    Enjoy the ride!

Ditto what LB said. Don't know where you live, but riding season is just around the corner for me. I wouldn't wait around for some lane company to start production again and miss out on riding. If you really want an ODIS, buy something like a Karate Monkey fork for $50-60 for now.

Just go with the salsa, or you can find one of the knock off white brothers carbon forks for a pretty decent price (ex: origin 8 black ops). This is the 3rd year I've been riding my jabber with a white brothers carbon fork and have only had good experiences. Originally I had the ODIS on the jabber, but replaced it with carbon and appreciate the lighter weight front end. I've since moved the ODIS to another bike, it's also a nice fork just slightly heavy compared to carbon and does a bit less to dampen small vibrations.

What color you looking for? I have a Black odis fork, wasn't planning on selling it, but it just sits in the garage.
