    Tubeless Dual Duty XC??

Anybody running Dual Duty XC rims tubeless? Stans shows a way to run it using their strip, but I wondered if anyone has run one using only the yellow tape? Have a set of rims that I would like to convert, but would prefer the weight and cost of the tape if it'll work out.

I just did a Stans conversion on my Dual Duty rims with Kenda Karma tires. It was definitely a learning experience and I would highly recommend using the method on the Stans web site. The rims have a deep channel and it needs to be filled in order for the rim strip to fit properly and not leak. Also, you need to order the wider rim strip from Stans as mentioned on the site.

My only other problem was the Kendas took a lot of work to get sealed up.

Eventually it did work just fine.

    Good luck,
