Supercomps vs Comp 14/15s vs 14s vs CX Rays

230lb and have a El Cap on the way. Ride east coast, do no drops, but my riding style is not what I call subtle. Probably, will go with 36 spoke TK 7.1 rims and DT freeride hubs.

    Spokes?

I went with the 14/15 setup and the TK 7.1 36h rim in the rear, killer rim. 32h in the front is my choice. I'm about 218# and ride up in Tahoe and Downieville a lot. Some smaller drops. I'm running a Sugar 293 with a Thudbuster seatpost as well.

The 14g spokes will build up a slightly stiffer wheel. My experience is that the DB spokes are tougher and suffer less breakage at the spoke head bend under hard usage. I like the feel a bit better as well.
