    Stans Boogers and Hero Dirt

Seems like we're getting rain most every weekend these days. That's cool, we really need it. Since we we're grounded yesterday, the girls swung by for a little bike tuneage.

Ponchie had a serious Stan's Booger festering in her front tire. Quite a healthy specimen.

I suggested she hang it from her rear view mirror. She thinks I'm weird.

Today, the sun came out. So, it was time to play. I grabbed the purple beastie, topped the camelbak up with all of the necessary accoutrements, and headed out.

The dirt was like effing velcro. HERO DIRT!

And a few vid clips. This is a little number we call the "Body Bag".

Are you freaking kidding me? Aren't you more curious about that ginormous Stan's Booger?

I am. I mean, what causes this phenomenom? How big can they get? What's the all time largest documented Booger? Can these things upset one's wheel balance and handling?

So many questions, and you're actually more interested in that fork?

Biggest booger I have ever seen.

You riding flats now? What up with the hightops?

How do you continue to ride at your age? It's like watching Yoda set aside his walking stick to brandish a light saber.

I'll get back to you on this tomorrow. I've got one inside a Rampage that has completely plugged the tire. I've been running the tire for around 2 years. I can feel it when I squeeze the tire. I was hoping to wear the tire out before un seating it. Unfortunately the "booger" has now got very heavy and the tire spins funny.

Ya don't wanna try riding "no hands" with one of those big boogers bouncing around in there, on pavement on the way to dirt.

Bonking ... not feelin' well no boogers for me

    Well two things,

First where are you all riding? that loooks awesome

Secondly, Why are my tires not getting any boogers?

I went on a ride today and had a small slice in my sidewall on my stans crows and the sealant would not do its job!! I spent 45-60 mins. trying to get the the stupid hole to seal . i finally just put a tube in so i could keep on with my ride. when I took the tire off the rim there was a good amount of sealant.

    Please help Any suggestion

This makes me cringe. I have been riding rigid a lot lately. I don't mind technical terrain, but imagine the sting of this landing would be a bit much.

It would be great to get over to the right coast one of these days. I'm always blown away with how green and lush your forests are. It's such a contrast to our desert stuff.

The 911 roll is a fun move. It's not the actual roll that messes with your head. It's the lead in, and then hard right turn at the top that instills fear. It's always a bit freaky looking down at my front wheel, cranked hard, as I'm dropping in.

BTW, I hear you are getting a visitor next week.
