    Seven Sola Stable Addition

I'm pretty psyched right now. After selling off both of my 29r's (Salsa El Mar. & a Salsa DOS) for various reasons, I started to go into 29r SS w/draw.

I found a smoke'n deal on an '08 Seven Sola & should have it up and running w/in a week or so.

The build will be something like this:
    ~ XT or Eno cranks
~ Convert Hope Bulbs laced to Blunts
    ~ Magura Marta SL brakes
~ White Bro's Carbon or Salsa Cromoto fork
~ Mary Bars or Moots Ti Bar w/Moots Ti seatpost.

I can't wait to have an SS build up again!

Until then, here's peek at the frame.

Nice find. I like the color.........

That is a great looking frame and you do not see a Seven everyday out on the trails either . . .
Thanks to www.weavercycleworks.com for my awesome bike frames!

    Nice....now hurry and build it!

I came really close to buying a Sola before I built my IF. Seven makes some really nice stuff.

I have to say that of all the steel frames I've seen in the shop & over the years, this frame is by far the lightest & thinest wall steel I've seen to date.

To the point that it almost makes me nervous being a 200er. After looking over my spare parts tonight, I'll be using a black Salsa Cro-Mo fork since the Marts SL's are not the post mounts that my Wht. Bro fork needs.

The rest is yet to be determined...

I know it's been a while, trust me it's been killing me to finally get the 1st ride after almost 3 weeks!

I'm a little bummed about the lack of tire clearance between the stays, but the ride is awesome! I thought I might be on a alum. bike in terms of "snap" on climbs, but when it turns rough it's pretty smooth. (Although not my old El Mar. smooth)

Looks good. How long are the chainstays? Sorry about the rear clearance, I know that can be annoying. I hope you get a few more rides in more quickly this time!
