    Replacement fork options...

Hi, new to the mtbing world.
Currently own a norco storm 9.1. Comes with the suntour xcm, no lockout....

Looking to replace in near future as I feel like I'm already riding past the ability of the fork.

I know the bike is an entry level bike therefore I didn't want to spend too much on a replacement fork, because if I decide to continue riding and keep enjoying it as much as I do. I'll upgrade to a new bike in the future. Possibly a full suspension bike.... That sounds comfortable...

I've looked and researched alot and come up with the rock shox xc32 as a good, not too expensive replacement for the bike. Am I looking in the right direction here?

I'm in Australia, riding alot of rocky trails, slow and fast. And feel like a fork upgrade could do me the world of good. I only paid $600 for the bike brand new and I'm very happy with it. Just a few little upgrades would make it alot better I think.

Have already replaced pedals to a set of saints and that had helped immensely. New tyres are in sight as well as the rear is near shot already. New grips as well.... One day I'll find a cheap hobby...

    Thanks in advance,
    Tobey

Xc32 are nice. I believe they are available in 1 1/8 and tapered.

Suntour has a trade up program, a Epicon or Raidon would be a nice upgrade over the XCM. Contact them directly for more information.

I rode xc32 on my 29er for 2 seasons before dropping $500 on new set of manitou forks. Xc32 is a great, solid entry fork. And if I catch a sale can be had for ~150
