Prototype trek slash/remedy 29er?
I was biking in Fruita over the weekend and saw this little jewel. I've read you can only get black rockshox sanctions if you're a pro rider, so the bike instantly grabbed my attention. Then i noticed it was un-badged and had a testers rear shock. With the release of the enduro 29er this would make sense. Here is a photo......any thoughts?

Depending on the angle you look at the stanchions, does it look like the coating in this old pic of Rene Wildhaber's fork? I believe this one was described as their super expensive, unideal for consumer use, DLC (diamond-like carbon) coating.

I wonder whose bike that can be. TWR races on Shimano and Fox, I think, so I'm thinking maybe it's Rene's. Interesting find, considering how they changed their plans on the Roscoe.
This one is supposedly the Roscoe 140mm FS 29er:

Looks like they're trying to find room for pivots, the FD, chainrings, and tire to make full floater work on a 29er without compromising.

Looks like a Session.

Pretty sure that could be the 29" Fuel EX that is coming out for next year, well lets hope so at least.

I'd rather be riding

They've already got full floater on the ladies fs 29, I only see it fitting that the new fuel will quickly follow.

Trek Enduro Pro and one of their chief test pilots lives in the GJ/Fruita area. He is also a Rock Shox sponsored so this could be one of his.

Haha thanks. I actually thought my good friend bob may have stolen the photos which is the only reason I made a big deal about it. Turns out it wasn't him. I can provide a high resolution image if you're interested.

it makes sense they would put out a long travel 29er after the roscoe fell through.
