I really like the blacked out look! The specialized carve single speed "looks" similar.

Cheap seat clamp (only one I could find this size)
    Recovered wtb seat
    St hubs
    Dt Swiss double butted spokes
    Sun/ringle inferno 23 rims
    Leather grips

Civilian Luddite arrives under heavy guard in Afghanistan

My 23" frame Civilian Luddite finally arrived by USPS at Mazar E Shariff in northern Afghanistan. It is definitely the nicest looking bike around. The seat is up so high on this 23 that an Afghan couldn't steal it. So far just riding inside the fence. Could have used a higher handle bar setup but otherwise very pleased.

Not very special, completly original 2012 Kona Unit.
    Delivered 4 days ago.
Upgrading will start around 500km, when I know what the bike needs to be better. So far, very happy with it.

That's secure, but wouldn't a U lock be more convenient?

Not new to the singlespeed world, but I just built my first 29er. Started as a Nashbar SS (de-badged SE Stout). Switched out wheels, fork and cockpit and shaved about 6lbs.
