I'm buying a Tallboy and have an opportunity to swap the stock wheelset (Mavic TN719 laced to DT240s rear and Chubb front) for an Easton Haven (non-carbon) wheelset at close to same cost, so price not an issue. LBS guy tells me Easton Havens much stiffer than the Mavics.
Wow, three for three! Stans first. Havens second. Stock third. I have the stock wheels on my TB and I converted them to tubeless till I get some stans or Enve. The conversion is working great for now. You're going to love the TB
I'd take the Havens just for the fact of the 2 year no questions asked warranty. If a UFO landed on you while you were JRA, and the front wheel broke, you would get a new one.
