Please help me choose: Easton Haven (non-carbon) or stock wheels on Tallboy

I'm buying a Tallboy and have an opportunity to swap the stock wheelset (Mavic TN719 laced to DT240s rear and Chubb front) for an Easton Haven (non-carbon) wheelset at close to same cost, so price not an issue. LBS guy tells me Easton Havens much stiffer than the Mavics.

What do you think? Thanks for your help.

Both are quality wheels and look nice. I'd go Havens, because:

Havens have wider rims, wider tires will fit better.
The possibility to run tubeless without need of rim strips

..Or you could buy a nice set of wheels with Stans Crest rims. Wide, light, tubelss ready, simple.

Wow, three for three! Stans first. Havens second. Stock third. I have the stock wheels on my TB and I converted them to tubeless till I get some stans or Enve. The conversion is working great for now. You're going to love the TB :)
