Nobby Nic VS Racing Ralph

Does the Nic have a taller tread? I am not crazy about my RR(snakeskin) as a front tire and was wondering about the Nic up front instead. what do you guys think?

Yes. NN tread is taller.

NN front / RR rear is a very common combination at least in the 26" world.

I thought my 26" NN had good traction but when it let go, it did it more suddenly than the old model RR.

From looking at the tread patters, I think a Rocket Ron might be a better match for the NNic. They both seem to have the same "openness" to them.

I really want the Snake Skin. I had a non Snake Skin RR and tore the side wall. I do agree that the Rocket looks better for a front tire.

Yeah, Not sure on the durability on the RRon. I could get away with one on the rear here in WI with a NNic up front. It seems to me to be the combo. I have 2 sets of the same wheels for switching. Ideally, I'd like the NNic up front on both, an NNic for 1 rear for trails and a RRon on the other for racing. My wallet says no at the moment though.
