Niner RIP 9 for AM/Enduro/light bikepark

I'm looking for a new rig to replace my 2012 Kona Satori.

I live in Holland but ride a lot in Germany and Norway also. Also the bike goes with us on our holiday in mountainous areas as the Alps.
When I go on holiday I like to do some uplift up/schredding downhill action too(megavalanche track and likewise).

Is the RIP 9 the do-it-all I'm looking for or should I look for something more capable?

Bike must be strong enough to handle so light bikepark use as well.

other competitors are the WFO9, the BMC Trailfox29 and the BMC Speedfox 29 2015.

    No fan of Specialized...

I've owned both the Satori and the Rip9. I felt the Kona was a superior bike in nearly every fashion. I think it's unusual here, but I really did not like the Rip9 at all. Felt very steep and sketchy.

I'm not necessarily a fan of Specialized in some ways, but the E29 is far and away the best 29er I've ever owned. I mean, it's not even close. Incredible bicycle.

Was it the new (2014) Rip9 or the old one? They really are not the same bike at all.

I should have specified it was older.

If I were looking for a pedal-able 29er for occasional park or lift-served, I'd be looking at E29, WFO or one of the new Lenz rigs.
