    new nine 70!

just picked this up, bike feels awesome so far. with preload all the way up the forks will due for now. i got free tune ups for life, lifetime warranty on frame, and one year for entire bike. it was the only felt in the shop because they dont carry them in stock but everyone was lookin at this one! that is the chainstay i just put on it till the one i ordered gets here, but its a tube wrapped in colored electrical tape. i dont think it looks to bad.

i can feel the weight on my hands, the bars are 670mm, do you think 680mm will fix my problem, or go ahead and get 690?

Good luck I've been waiting for months for these to come out.
I'm trying to decide between the 2013's: Trek Mamba, Scott 970, or Felt Nine 60
I'm leaning towards Nine 60 due to Rock Shock lockout & it's a sharp looking bike.
The hard part is I can't test ride the Felt, I have to order it with 50% down.
These bikes don't seem to carried in large #'s in LBS.
So I'll ride the Mamba, Scott & order the Felt I guess

I noticed the Felts are in whole # sizes: 16,18, 20 etc..
    I'm 5ft 8in weight 155lbs with 30/31 pant size.
I ride a 17.5in Trek Hybrid and not really sure what to order.
    16 or 18.
    What size is your Felt?

im 5-8 and weigh in at 170 pounds! its a 16in. fits like a glove! the bike is a little heavy but this fork alone weighs 5.5 pounds! so new fork and you got a decent bike!

I had that problem on my X-cal. I went to riser bars and a shorter stem to bring my body weight more upright and it solved my problem.

Congrats on the bike! I've got a Nine 60 on order, the LBS had one in stock but it was a 20" & I need a 16. I can't wait to get back on a mountain bike after a long lay off.

I almost pull the trigger on a 9-60, but paused !
FELT used to be made in Taiwan, but the 2013 is now made in Cambodia.

Big Nate29er how tall are you and your inseam to get a 16inch Felt.?
I have to order one and cant make up my mind over the 16inch or 18inch
I'm 5'9" with 30/31 pant size. My Trek Hybrid is 17.5"
Don't want to get one too big. Cant send it back either

it seems everyone has to order these, why not keep any in stock if you are dealer? people are just as likely to buy these as all the other brands, in a beginners point of view like myself. also i have 670mm bars with 25mm rise, how much more rise should i get?

felt has updated there web site, if you look at the nine 70 it shows it in black, it says it comes with hydro brakes and xct fork and 30mm rise bars. myn has mechanical 25mm rise bars and xcm fork. whats going on here? lol
