I believe you were successful in the bling factor, Sweet Bike!

I wanted to go with I9 since they have a Lefty hub but the shop I worked at out in Utah had a guy who came in almost every other week to get a spoke replaced or hub adjustment. I didn't want to deal with that **** although my King seems to need a lot of attention at the moment.

That bike is just awesome. I've been taking notice of the lefty the last few weeks. Must resist buying parts!

Hi cyrjm, I'm considering mounting a lefty on my El Mariachi Ti frame: it's a 19". With a King headset mounted, the steering tube measures around 140mm, so I was considering swapping my King for a slimmer headset. How long is your steering tube?

Hey man...not sure, I'll have to check. I'll have a look sometime this week and let you know..I'm actually about to strip the frame and clean it up. I may actually be selling my Lefty if you're interested...looking to upgrade to a newer one if I can get a good deal. Full disclosure, my Lefty is leaking so I'm about to send it to my old mechanic out west and have him rebuild it...it's about due anyways.

Suweeet! Man, we had two Pugsleys at my old shop in Utah and would rally them during the winter. Fun as hell.
Hey MendonCycleSmith...I've sent a Lefty to you for a guy who bought one off me (here, in the classifieds). Since nobody in all of Georgia knows how to properly service one and my mechanic out west is too busy mounting skis...how much for a rebuild? I had it rebuilt last season but it's slowly leaking oil ( somewhere ) and has already contaminated two sets of pads and rotors. Holds air steadily but over a course of a few weeks it will lose a few PSI. Lockout works and the bearings have yet to migrate at all since the cartridge was service. PM me if you'd like...I may send it your way.

Thanks cyrjm, I'll wait to hear from you.
I'm living in Italy, so buying your Lefty wouldnt be practical. I went for a Lefty OPI XLR for 29'er 90mm, unused, took down from a brand new Cannondale.
I've also ordered a Tune bobo headset, to get an overall steering length well below 137mm.
I'll post some pics.
