Thanks! This is what it looked like before the rebuild. Also, its an eBay ti post, great finish for less than a Thomson, I think anyway. there's a whole thread on the no-name eBay Chinese ti.... I dropped about 2lbs from the initial build.

Nope, its a ti post from a eBay. No-name Chinese post.
How is the post working out aperzigian? I am looking at them on Ebay and they look good for the price. Is it the j&l one? From the pictures it looks like it. Looking at it my main concern is with the design of the rail clamps and how well they will hold up to my clyde rear!

So far so good with the post. And yes, it is the J& L one. The shipping was pretty fast actually, considering it came from a million miles away. And, for a ti post and what I paid, I certainly can't complain. The design of the rail clamps seem perfectly solid. I don't have many miles on the post yet, but over the next season I'll update you if you'd like....I say, go for it. Plus, there's a one year warranty, so that's not too bad...

I have a bid in for one now. I would love to get an Eriksen or Black Sheep but can't afford one right now. To many other things have priority in the way of bike parts right now.
Here's my new EMD. For all intents and purposes, it's an adult BMX bike. It's also lighter than my steel road bike, which is sensible but still a bit boggling. It's a BLAST to ride.
