I am getting so excited to build this bike up for my girl. We have gone through a few bikes in the last 6 months trying to find the right one for her! I am hoping the 2012 E.M.D is the one for her! We went with the Anodized black!

Carla, I am a fan though I don't own a Niner..You guys are having a demo day down here in S. Florida....I am hoping to try out a RIP and WFO (not for Florida riding) but for elsewhere! I built up a Jet9 for a friend up in DC and it changed him as a rider!

I pick mine up Tuesday I went with the red as well but was dissapointed it only comes in two colors the black isn't that great it looks like crap in comparison to the red.

You would be exactly correct, it is a 1x10. I haven't weighed it yet, but I can tell you its less than 25 pounds, I think its closer to 24.

The black frame (at least I think so) looks amazing in person. It has a really nice matte finish that just looks stealthy as hell.
