Moto bike check
So, I have been working on this little project over the winter and have pretty much come to an end. I have pictures of it posted up in other places but figured I would give an update here in the 29er section since that is technically what it is.
29 Moto Outcast (w/ ti slider bolts)
White Brothers Rock Solid fork
King headset
Ritchey WCS stem (ti bolts)
Ritchey Super Logic carbon bar
Cane Creek Bar ends (w/ ti bolts)
ESI Racers Edge grips
CNC brake levers
Jag Wire compressionless housing/cables
BB7 brakes w/ ti mounting bolts (some alu bolts as well)
KCNC rotors w/ ti bolts
XTR M960 modded crank w/ ti crank bolts and KCNC alu chainring bolts (ring bolts not pictured-new bolts are red)
Home Brewed 33t chainring (also have a 32)
White Industry Trials freewheel 18t (the green one)
White Industry Eno hubs (w/ ti bolt on bolts in rear)
DT spokes
Brass nips
Maxxis Ikon front tire tubeless
Nano Raptor rear tire tubeless
Black Sheep Infinity post 380mm w/ Thompson clamp (carbon railed seat so had to go w/ this head over their normal offering)
Smud Carbon cradles for Thompson clamp on order (probably a 3 week wait)
KCNC seat collar
Speed Play frog pedals
Gold X9sl chain
So with all of this crap on the bike, it still only weighs 21.03 lbs. I could easily drop a little by removing the bars and installing my full carbon saddle. But I will lose comfort and climbing performance and .5 lbs just isn't worth it to me at this point. The frame is on the heavier side of things at 4.8 lbs and obviously I could drop some weight in my wheels. I plan on building up another set of wheels over the winter. Next up will probably be a new King bb in red but that might wait until winter as well.
