Manitou Tower Expert, Rockshox Recon Silver or Suntour Raidon?

I have a Suntour XCR on my Felt Nine Trail. I am looking to upgrade.

Some of the forks I have considered are
    1) Manitou Tower Expert $299
    2) Suntour Raidon $189
    3) Rockshox recon Silver $200

What would you go with out of these 3?
Any other suggestions in this price range that are new?

    Thank you

I run the Tower Pro. it is an excellent product.

I ran a RS Recon Silver on a Jabberwocky for over a year and loved it (until I sold the bike, which I sorely miss now =/ ). Never had any issues what-so-ever (pretty sure all of the others would serve reliably as well now-a-days,this isn't the 1990's,LOL). Love Manitous too, been served well by my Drake for years (I know that's a different model, but same manufacturer). I have no experience with the Suntour.

I think it is down to the Suntour Raidon (loyalty program or the Rockshox Recon Silver TK.

Between those two, which is a better fork?

The Raidon has a closed oil damping circuit, like a shock absorber on a car. Maintenance will be light.

I'm on the heavier side, and I really preferred the Recon over the Raidon - for me it felt like no comparison as far as small bump compliance balanced against mid-range fee.

I still have no personal experience with the Suntour...but you won't have any issues with the RS,it's an awesome fork (and it's also the one I will be buying in a couple months for a On One Inbred frame I'm building up,didn't even have to think about it,decision made on past experience)...it's a Rock Shox

Is there a lot of maintenance on the Rockshox Recon Silver?

I assume you have used both. Was the Recon the Silver model?
So your saying that in your mind, the Recon Silver is a step above?
Any advantages that the Raidon has over the Recon Silver?

I am leaning towards the Rock Shox Recon Silver.

Not that price of bikes has any merit on how good a bike is but I noticed that lower end 29ers use Suntour XCT ($500-650 for bike). Ones that are priced a tiny bit higher may use Suntour XCM/XCR ($600-750). Bikes from $750-$1100 I see using Rockshox XC28 or XC32. Then I see bikes $1000-1500 range typically come equiped with the Rockshox Recon Silver. Bikes $1400-1800 come with the Rockshox Reba. These are just some general observations and do not hold true to every brand.

So what I am saying is that the Rockshox Recon Silver can't be that bad if they are equiping bikes that are $1000-1500 range with them.

Not a lot of maintenance on the Silver. As with every fork, read the manual and follow the guidelines, but I barely kept up with that with mine,LOL,and it never let me down, not once. I will be buying another RS Recon Silver in 100mm flavor, which is as high praise as I know how to give it.

The Manitou Tower forks are among the best forks out there right now. Excellent, smooth, and very good small bump performance. I have spent time (couple of months) on the Tower Pro, and got to test ride a Spot Honey Badger on my local trails with a Manitou Tower Expert, and found the two pretty comparable. And, the 29" Recon Silver Solo Air is about .6 lb heavier than the Manitou Tower Expert, but you pay a bit more for that luxury.
