I purchased a pair of "oval" chainrings from Rotor for my 2013 Specialized Epic Marathon 29er (all SRAM XO components).
Problem is, although the larger (34t) chainring mounts correctly, it's too large for the front derailleur, so I either have to go back to the original large ring, or remove the larger chainring and derailleur entirely, and switch to the smaller (24t) chainring only.
That presents a new problem - the Rotor oval chainring isn't designed to be a "sole" chainring on a mountain bike because it doesn't have he "narrow/wide" tooth configuration.
Anyone know of a 24t "oval" chainring with the narrow/wide alternating teeth that would fit an SRAM crankset?
