Interesting thread. Thanks for the info so far.

Has anybody tried the Fox 34 (2016) with the Chupacabra or the Knard on a Stan's Hugo or WTB Scraper rim (about 50 mm)? Heard that although the DW is 3.0 it turns out to be a little smaller than a Chupa or Knard.

Getting a steel 29+ bike (custom frame/Krampus style). Frame will be designed around 120 mm. suspension. Was thinking about the Magnum but a Fox would be even better.

    Thanks

Probably because the subcategory didn't exist when the thread was created.

Hello, what size is the Dirt Wizard? Is it the 29plus version? Im wondering if a knard 29plus will fit in this fork. It looks like the Knard casing may be wider. Thanks!

I'm also curious about this. Anyone use a non-boosted fork with a Chupa?

I am a Clydesdale I ride a L. Mix of all Mt. and XC. Riding a 2011 Fox 32 Talas. Need something stronger. I am an beg-intermediate rider. Do you think I am a match for the Yari or do you think I need/want the Magnum/34/Pike?

Yari has 35mm stantions, so stiffness should be ok. It does not have as sophisticated of a damping system, so that might make you want to spend more.

Yeah but what are we really talking about here? I mean how will a 2016 Yari compare to my 2011 fox 32 which seems significantly over tasked with my riding. Plus it seems like the Yari is actually stiffer then a Pike and you can upgrade the internals to a Pike or better.

If someone could help me understand if the difference between a Yari and Magnum Pro is significant. Seems like the Yari is stronger.
