    Is that joke?

i just order and received two 29er frame from on-one uk,
once i open it and found one of the frame was cracked at headset area,
    then more interesting things coming,
the dice side dropout they gave me didn't match the frame at all,
also each frame needed 4 bolts, they only just gave me 4 bolts, then what about the other frame?

umm.... what can i say, never has that horrible experience in online shopping,

That HT is from shipping damage, not really their fault. Perhaps some of the packaging was misplaced.

Did you contact OnOne about this yet? Don't be "that" guy. The one who likes to raise cane about a problem before giving the supplier the opportunity to make good. Last I checked we are all human, and we make mistakes from time to time. If they fail to make good on this, then flame on!

I've dealt with them since '03. I have always found their customer service to be top notch. Things can and may have changed but I would contact them before going any further. Per Captain Cobb, don't be "that" guy.

Least you can do is contact the manufacturer, and then report back here about how awesome their customer service was when you get your issue handled... and how much you believe that mistakes happen and are willing to forgive.

These are all good responses. OnOne may just surprise you if you give them a chance. Of course, the alternative is to keep it and harbor a grudge all the way to your grave.
Use it, use it, use it while you still have it.

Amen it's not like it's their fault there was damage during shipping.
    All shipping companies have damage.
As for the wrong part's I would bet they have no problem replacing them.

Maybe if you complain more they will hack the mtbr database and then hire a private detective to get your contact info. Just sayin, it's an option...

Inadequate packaging is always the sellers fault, if you're running a mail order business there's no excuse for not knowing that shipping companies are staffed by angry gorillas.

Also, I had this exact problem with an On One Whippet four years ago and asked them to pad the head tube on the replacement, which they did not and apparently still don't.

After further investigation it was determined that bbbbking dropped the frame after unpacking causing the damage.....to be continued..

Actually the On-One guys are very much in touch with mtbr.

Also, the brake mounts inside the triangle on most of the On-Ones...that dropout gets flipped over.

The headtube's metal "base" (I forgot the exact word I wanted to say) was most likely bend before packing the frame. They didn't even care to check, or just abandon that frame.I doubt it that they didn't notice it.
Send them an email, don't dispute on paypal or anything.Wait for their response, accidents like these happen. If they are not eager to refund you/Send you a new frame then you can continue with a dispute.

Even if that's the case (have seen some on-one feedback from years ago, but nothing recent in the fatbike forum), "hoping" someone will contact you because you made a post on a website and didn't take the time to call or contact the company is the real "joke".

I was more pointing out that if the OP ends up being "That Guy," and was to blow up on this, On-One would probably be aware.

I don't think it would change how they handle things on their end...they're very good.

There are both types of Swapouts (for vertical dropouts), inside brake mount and outside brake mount (as the OP has). The real issue here is unless the Lurcher frame has been modified in the last 18 months the outside brake Swap out does not fit. You need the inside version.

Nothing to do with being a SMod. I did work for On-One for two years and dealt with the Lurcher daily.
