Inner width of WTB rim "Dual duty FR"

WTB writes for its rim "Dual Duty Freeride 29" an inner width of 23 mm:

But on the photo with drawing it is only 21 mm width.

    Which is the right width?

I would tend to agree...since the Dual Duty has a rim brake track, it would have to have thicker sidewalls. My SpeedDisc AM's are 21mm inside with a 26.5mm width but are disc only.

    Thanx for the answer.

Is there any budget rim in the range of 23-25 mm inner width filling the gap between the 21 mm and the expensive wide ones like Velocity P35?

Not sure if it counts as "budget" but the the Salsa Semi Disc has an inner width of 26mm i think.

A bit wider but I've seen Sun Rhyno 29er rims recently down to $30 a rim, width something like 27.5mm, but these may have been discontinued, so closeout pricing may be in effect. Got my Halo Freedoms from Speedgoat for about half of what a p35 goes for, like $45 or so and 28mm, bombproof.
