    Now it weighs more as a SS set up with Hope SS/Trials + King cog and MTX 33 rear rim.

    Even more when I put the Supernatural on.

    I just weighed and for a 21" steel framed bike it comes in at 28lbs. Not bad.. Jamis Dragon Sport with everything but the frame and fork upgraded.

    Trek Stache 7 gone tubeless with Bontrager Team issue tires a very unscientific bathroom scale 26.5ibs.

    Both are in the 26-27 lb range depending on which tires are mounted.

    Yeah I played around with going FS but at the end of the day I live in VA and when I go out west or to the DH parks in the region I rent. I have a nice frame and would like to build it much like you have done. Solid wheel to wheel and capable on most any XC or mountain trail.

    How much does your 29er hard tail weigh?

    24lbs currently but want to get down to 21ish. Dunno how im gonna achieve that unless do crash diet with full xtr, narrower tires, carbon wheels
