29er carbon clincher wheelset - 1430g/pair, Novatec hub + Sapim CX-Ray spokes and Sapim nipples, super light?
Thanks for the info! Sounds like a damn good set up for me. How do you like the Chinese carbon wheelsets? Are they reliable and strong for everyday use?
Niner Air 9 RDO, 20 lbs even. Its a real mountain bike with gears and front squish. It doesn't look like a 29er because the frame is an extra large. This bike is heaps of fun but I frequently get passed by guys (and girls) riding bikes that are 10+ pounds heavier, just saying that because you shouldn't overtrain on bike weight.
20lbs? Impressive with an XL frame! Looks very nice.
25.85 pounds - 2011 Stumpjumper Comp - new EC70 bars, Ritchey foam grips, Ritchey Pro stem, Thompson Masterpiece post, 2x10 conversion, Purgatory front, Captain rear. Would love to do new wheels some day, but it rides well and is a blast.

Out of curiosity. WHAT IS THAT? How much do you weigh? What kind of terrain do you ride? Am I seeing that correctly, a steel cable completing the A frame? Is this a folding bike?

My 2012 Superfly 100 Elite weighs about 26.2 lbs with pedals. To lose about 2 lbs overall I would have to spend roughly $1,000.
I weigh 180 lbs at 6'0". To lose 2 lbs I would have to watch what I eat for a couple of weeks and ride more. In terms of dollars I would save about 180 cents a day.
Seems like an easy choice, until 3:00 in the afternoon comes around and I'm hungry
Edit: I didn't catch the hardtail in the topic right away. My Redline hardtail weighs 24.4 lbs...
