How much is this bike worth?

Okay so I've been looking around since I am still waiting for my road bike to sell on craigslist and found this bike here...
Specialized Camber Expert 2011 | eBay
It looks in okay condition and it's a $2000+ bike for only around $500, but it is on bid. What is the most amount of money you would end up spending on this thing?

Yes, it has mid/high end components. It's a pretty darn nice rig!

I agree with the ambassador-$1000,maybe $1200.I paid $1650 for my 2011 pro with upgrades and very low miles.
You do realize this is a 26er...

Yeah not really interested in 26ers. Not saying I hate it or anything and this forum wouldn't be the best to ask about what is the best because of the obvious bias lol. But yeah probably.

But what would be a good budget full suspension bike to get? I am selling my road bike at the moment since I never got into just riding on the road, but have always loved to ride trails and such. I was looking at that one until I realized it was a 26er. But what would you recommend in the $1000 range? I don't think that I am going to be able to afford a new one though :/ I was looking at the Guardian for a hard tail, but now I am interested in the FS bikes. Any recommendations?

Including the upgrades that the bike itself has? I am still trying to figure out my budget at the moment, and am trying to sell my road bike which will give me like $550 then money from Christmas and what not. Anyways yeah I just gotta see what I got before I look for a bike that is too expensive for me.

You might want to try craigslist if you're in a decent size city. I've seen plenty of mountain bikes for sale (or trade for road bike) posts. You might find someone that wants to sell/trade their mountain bike for a road bike...
