Honzo single ring for 120/80 bcd cranks

Friend has a kona honzo, and he bought some x9 2X10 cranks to replace the stock (heavy) isis setup.

Months ago he tried to buy a singlespeed chainring from homebrew components but has had to give up on that path.

What are some good (affordable) options in the 32 or 33T range? Should he go for 80 mm or 120 mm BCD? Will probably run a taco bash guard, so no bash ring needed. 120 spider would ensure tons of CS clearance but 80 mm spider would give a better chainline when he's applying torque on the bigger rear cogs.

    He has a 1X9 drivetrain.

I have a 32 titanium, 34 aluminum and a bash guard made by Homebrewed Components all in 120/80 bcd that I don't use anymore in really nice shape. PM me if he's interested.

Honzo single ring for 120/80 bcd cranks

If he has X9 cranks with the removable spider, why not go for one of the direct mount chain rings like the MRP Bling Ring or the ones made by North Shore Billet?

Or get the X9 spider that fits 104BCD rings and run what you have. North Shore Billet sells them, but I picked up one I dont use on Ebay. I have a Bling Ring for the X9 cransket...
