i was doing a lot of research regarding what full suspension (trail mtb) to get. I have a beginner hardtail purchased on my local REI (novara torero) and been enjoying it, but as i discover the type of rider i am, i dnt think my bike will last longer or eventually i will get into big trouble as more than what i have experience so far. lol
I am saving to get me a FS mtb, my friends bought airborne hobgoblin, fezzari hidden peak and some high end GT ex-7. I saw some big difference by just riding it on the community (although i owned the record on all road segments and trail.=D eheeemmmmm!). i want to add some more arsenal by acquiring a FS bike. Initially i have my eye on diamondback sortie 1, i am not sure though if XC will cut the abuse im gonna put into the bike as i explore more technical awesomely BS(in a good way) trail here in MD. I also have my eye on GT sensor. Over all i will take my time to save more to ensure that i get the right TRAIL mtb. i would like to stay on $1500-$2000 range. I stand at 5'7" 180 lbs, i lift weights,i do alot of races(like mud run, savage race, civilian military combine, 10k trail runs. on top of that i broke both of my femur (one in 3 pieces). why im stating all this?? so that all you gurus will be lenient on me while trying to help a brother out. =D im planning to buy the bike on the cheapest season of the year( i dnt know when) locally, or online. Thanks guys
