These frames are on sale at The Clymb. Seems like a good deal for those that want to build their own bikes: http://www.theclymb.com/brand-event/...ct/304774?f=mi

I know... I'm fighting the urge right now...

Mostly because my current wheelsets are all 10x135QR and the Thumper/120x is 12x142.

I also saw that the Thumper frames are on sale on HH's site, too.

I am a bit confused by the multiple threads.

Which of the Thumper frames are having the 3 year warranty? The ones sold by Scott/Switchback? The ones sold by XL Cheese? Both?

    Can someone provide some clarification?
You cannot go against nature, because when you do, its part of nature too.

Switchback Bikes, per the Manufacturer, is able to honor the 3-year warranty on Thumper frames that customers purchased direct from Hammerhead and any remaining Thumper frames that may be purchased via Switchback Bikes.

Please post more questions if you have them...or feel free to contact me direct....

    Thanks, Scott

Haha. So I did it Scott. I got engaged tonight. Bought me some time tomorrow morning while she's getting the ring sized to start tearing apart the donor bike(s)!

How exactly is this different from the Satori to me they seem to have the pivots on the same location would that make the Satori a Horst link / FSR design?

Rearmost pivot is on the chain stay versus seat stay, for one.

And I don't know exactly but I think that's what makes it "horst" or "fsr"

    130x Frames - $899

The Hammerhead 130x (the updated graphics/name change from Thumper) frames are still in Taiwan.

If I can get them here and offer a sale price of $899, would that be enticing price?

Took my "Thumper" frame to the powdercoater for some Switchback Blue Love....slapped on some Switchback Stickers for an idea of what the Unveil9 (or Thumper) frames will look like PCed Switchback Blue....not too shabby if I don't mind saying so my own self

I finally stopped long enough to take a picture of the Thumper on the trails I built it for.
    HammerHead Thumper, thoughts?-20140406_123427_zps9gn7nwdq.jpg

The more I ride this bike the more I like it. I am continually cleaning rocky climbs that I have not been able to do before. If I have the legs and lungs I can get up anything on this. Going down hill is ridiculously fun. I am taking lines as speed that used to scare me.

My thoughts exactly. On stuff that used to sketch me out, I'm now pumpin' and jumpin'. I use the brakes much less on dh too.
