GT Zaskar Pro vs Ventana El Padrino
I would like input on whether I should stay with the 2011 GT Zaskar Pro frame or switch it's components over to the Ventana El Padrino.
The arguments I've heard are mostly against the GT's "dated" design.
Thanks in advance.
Every hardtail design is a "dated" design.

The El Padrino is no good. I borrowed one from a friend, and then immediately started ordering parts for my own 29er. No good, I tell you.
If possible to borrow an El Padrino, I'd do that and ride it back-to-back with the GT. I'd lean towards the Ventana simply because it's built in CA... plus Electric Super Dust looks very cool.
Interesting responses. I was expecting the ventana to be favored. So far, I love tyre GT. But being my first 29er I wanted some opinions.
