GF rig vs cobia (aka converting a cobia to a single speed)

I was going to go pick up the performance single speed kit with tensioner but since the rig is basically the same bike as my cobia and it does not have a tensioner do I need one?

I built up a canzo and love it but want to retire the cobia to single speed duty..

    thx

the rig and cobia frames are similar but have different dropouts. the rig uses sliders to tension and unfortunately they are part of the frame. A tensioner is ur best bet.

Singlespeeding is fun, you will love it

I bought the performance kit with the tensioner but when I held the chain up it fits perfectly without the tensioner.. for now.

I just picked up the Cobia a couple of days ago....a single speed conversion sounds interesting...I'd like to see some pictures when it's finished
