I was thinking about extending my fork from 80 mm to 100 mm. I've heard it will help eliminate pedal strikes because of the low bottom bracket. Wondering if anyone has done this and what they thought by extending. How much work involved??

    I've done it.

It's about a 10 minute job on the Reba. If you search here, there is a thread with instructions on how to do it without removing the damper.

It helped, but did not eliminate pedal strikes.

I still get a strike now and then on my Supercal but I recommend the change to 100mm. Does not seem to change the handling at all, at least that I can notice.
