Gary Fisher Mamba vs Giant Rainier WSD models?

Ok guys - I need help - which is the better bike here?

One local shop has the Mamba WSD I can get for 759 and here are the specs on it:

or another local shop has this one which is priced at 770 - no discount on it and here are specs on it:

any opinions would be great - because I have no idea what Im looking at on components since Im still a newbie.

Patience, grasshopper. The Trek is a better value with the Tora fork, X.5 RD, Deore FD, and BB5 brakes. None of them are earth-shattering differences, so make sure you ride both and see which is most comfortable. The Giant's low standover is a nice feature if you are execptionally short.

    Hope

I've ridden bboth and they equal in that aspect, im almost 5'7 so short isn't an issue. I just want the best for the money. Another option for me is I found a guy selling a brand new he never used it giant talon 1. Not sure how that one might rack up? Its a small so it would fit me even though its not wsd.
