    What is "ft, del"?

I've been riding road bikes for 40 years, mountain bikes for 29 years, and have no clue what that might be.

you've been riding for 40 years? even i can figure out what he's talking about, the front dérailleur. he says "trad. or bottom swing" That gave it away.

I guess I am to old to understand the abbreviations. It was the comma after "ft" that messed me up. I'd use fr. der., but what the hey. Got it now. I'm also too tall to give the Orbea a serious look, so no help.
