Looking at getting a new fork for a Yelli Screamy build but want something with more tire clearance than my existing Reba. Dont know whether the 2012 Revelation is any better or if something like a Zocchi 44 is a better bet?
On the new Manitou Tower I can fit a WTB Dissent on a P35 with mud clearance and no rub-even with a regular QR. I have a 120mm on a Nimble 9...handles awesome!
I've got a Reba 120 and while it fits an Ardent 2.4 on Flows, it doesn't have enough room to pass an acorn cap stuck in the treads. I haven't had any troubles with it but I don't ride trails with lots of sticky mud. The "new" revelation uses the same lowers as the Reba, so I wouldn't expect any improvement in that area.
Thanks car nut, didnt know if they had changed the castings for the new model, I have run a Racing Ralph 2.4/Flow combo on the Reba and I got it to rub on hard cornering and landings.
