    Thanks.
It is good to know a 2.25 fits the tight rear wishbone.

Hi HenkeK, nice build. I'm going to build almost the same bike (XT, 2x10, RS Reba RL).
Do you know the weight of your bike ?

Generally the frames alone are in the $400 to $500 USD ballpark figure. Then a little more if your want extra bits (ie seatpost, bottle cages etc) forks will cost you extra. Then you have to figure shipping depending on where you live. To the US it generally costs 80 to 100 dollars. At least that has been my experience. I spent just over 600 for frame, headset, bottle cages and seatpost with shipping. I have had the frame for 2-3 months now and I love it.

    Thank you guys!

    tchvil, I use 2,25"

MTB2223, the weight is approx 10.5kg but can easily drop some weight on the 300gr saddle and theheavy pedals I use. If I also go with tubeless instead of the heavy tubes I use it should drop more weight. Under 10kg is no problem.

I can publish the list of components and weights when I have accsess to that. Probably next week.

Though, i am little bit disappointed on how heavy bike feels now, with fatter tires and fork. I am thinking now that i can ride everywhere on rigid, instead of suspension fork, just to get a lighter bike.

Considering to change for a rigid+cyclocross tires for tomorrow race.

Okay, did some racing on saturday. Had some horrible form and a very bad speed after 3rd lap (in a 7-lap race). Struggled more and more towards the finish, very disappointed in myself. Finished 16th out of 30 people.

Bike performed better than me - very good handling, braking, and overall. Went on a rigid + 2.25 Racing Ralphs. Maybe it was better to install cyclocross tires - wheels felt a little bit heavy for this sprint race. But still, i am very impressed in cornering speed and narrow technical sections. I was able to go into and out of corners faster than even leading guys. But still, i was slower overall, hehe . Definitely, i have a lot a room for improvement.

PS: BB is now clicking a lot, after the race...

    Dear All,
My package has landed in Malaysia on Sunday, 13th July 2014 but now stuck with the customs. Can you all kindly provide me some feedback on how much tax you need to pay for custom clearance? Also let me know your respective country location. The custom usually will tax you on the value of the declared invoice right? Do you know the percentage that the custom will tax you, just wana have an idea. Appreciate to hear for all your feedbacks soon. Regards.

Azmie68, all countries have their own laws. We in Kazakhstan, can order goods up to 1000 EUR for free. Over limit will be subject of 30% tax.

But xmiplay filled in customs declaration with frame cost only 150 USD, so there were no problems for me...

    Dear Nazzar,
Thank you for your feedback. I have just checked with some general information that for any goods below Ringgit Malaysia (RM) 500.00 there will be no tax so that is about USD156.00. My invoice have been declared at USD180.00 (RM573.00) just a bit way of the mark. But I hope the custom will not be not be so strict or ask too many questions, sometimes it depends on luck as well. Hope to hear for some other feedback from the rest too.

Mine just arrived to the custom office today, in Belgium.

In Europe they add the VAT(~20% of the value + shipment, % depending on the country). I'm somehow ok with a VAT, this is our tax system.
A lower % would be great though.

But then they add a fee, something like 30-50 for their "work".
    This so feudal.
We stopped this between euro countries, we could stop this for others too.

Too bad, I have a carbon crankset and it's BB30 and was really planning to build a carbon HT using the crank. I am attracted at the weight of it just over 440 grams! There has been lots of negative feedback from BB30 users that I am thinking of holding this plan back.

Anyway, it's been more than 19 days since I paid my order with Peter (IP-036 and IP-106) and haven't heard back anything from him yet All the more I am getting excited.

I guess in case of BB30 as long as bearings are properly pressed and cranks aren't over-torqued, we shouldn't expect that clicking problem. Or maybe it's the shell who's not aligned properly? anyone?

    Dear All,
Thank you for all your feedbacks, really appreciate it. This Saturday morning I need to go the customs and do my own clearing. I hope the custom officer in charge on that day is a nice and considerate person, I will do my very best to convince and negotiate with him for the best lowest tax that I should pay. I will bring along my crystal ball with me, I will be very lucky if I can get everything for free.
