I'm based in the UK so lots of mud and rain!

Any thougths on this machine? Alternatives to consider?

I'd love to try a Canyon, but no love for the US.

Chainstay is 433.87 on the carbon and 438 for the al. Wheelbase is the same on medium.

Cheap way to get one to the US. Use thr free ship within Germany and free bag allowance for returning international flight. There may be a military option for US troops within Germany. VAT is 19% refundable.

I think it would be no problem for me to order one and send it over if someone is willing to trust me, that is. Maybe I could make a small income out of it next to my gap year before University?

Jo3eph4ever, I just bought that same frame and am about to build it up. Would you mind sending me a spec list of your bike? The Canyon website doesn't give details. Thanks. Oh, any advice on components or things to look out for from a size perspective?

The new Canyon Lux. What Canyon fails to mention is the weights quoted on there website are for mediums. I have a small, Canyon sizing is big my small Canyons have been the same size as Scott mediums. Which makes them ultra light. Weighs just over 20lb for a XC full suspension. Tubeless with Thunder Burt rear, amazing tyre. Rocket Ron up front. The Spline rims were the deal maker for me. Can not see the need to carbon after these. The performance is mind blowing my ride gained 1 mph overnight, climbing is like cheating.

I'd appreciate an in-depth review of your Lux if you're able, sometime.

Wow. medium on the site is 10.95kg./24.09lbs. That small is helium.

Happy to answer any questions. Love to ride distance have done a couple of 60 milers were fatigue plays at the end. I think more guys would go to full suspension if they give it a go. Very comfortable for me the 4th good bike I have owned a joy to ride and the best so far.

Curious, What rear mudguard is that, is it effective for it's nice and small.
