I've been building this bike up after a friend signed me up for the trans rockies this coming August. Seemed like a good excuse to make the switch to 29er. It's a 2009 Kona hei hei 2-9 deluxe with a rp3 rear shock and f29 100mm up front
Sram X0 shifters and rear derailleur
XTR front derailleur
XTR 11-34 cassette
race face deus cranks with 26-32-44 rings
Chris king bottom bracket
American classic 29er wheelset set up tubeless
SARS headset (I'll be changing that to a king later on)
Avid juicy 7 brakes 160r 180f
Easton ec70 bars 680 wide
Ritchey 100mm WCS stem
nokon cables w/ middleburn oilers
All together it came in at 26lbs on the dot. Now if it would just stop snowing I could actually go out and ride it. Attachment 596633
Salsa El Mariach Frame size large.
Shimano Deore LX cranks
Shimano Deore Shifter and RD 8spd.
Sram pg850 cas and chain
Giant Stem 100mm/ 6deg rise
Specialized Bar 670mm
Avid Elixer brakes 185mm front and rear
Fox 32 F29 RLC
Stans Flow rims in white
Spokes and nipples dont know manufactor in Black
Hope Pro2 hubs in blue
WTB 9mm QR. black
Specialized Captains 2.0 tubeless ready tires.
Tompson 27.2 seat post.
Weights in at 23lbs with home scale.
Reach seems short so I think I'm gonna flip the stem and maybe try a longer one I have sitting around. Weighs in at 24.6 lbs. Good 5 pound loss of my old Enduro. Now if only the snow would melt so I could actually try it out!
