    Camber Comp 29er seat post

Im wondering if any one knows why there are two holes in the bottom of the seat post through the side? I just got my bike and its a lil too tall. I wanna cut it but I want to know what those holes are for first...

thanks for any and all ideas!

Just a wild guess; I remember seeing those too on a Camber I demo'ed. My thought at the time was that if those holes are showing 1. You had to have seen the warning 2. If you tried it anyway, the post would buckle instead of tearing off the top of the frame.

aha, thanks! That's an excellent explanation.. I thought I had a dilemma. Now I don't feel so bad about cutting an inch or so off the bottom of it.. Thanks again..
