I have the 2012 version with the alloy frame and LOVE it. Best bike I've had in a long time! Had a Niner WFO before and the FSR eats the trail soooo much better and is much lighter. The only thing the 13' has over mine is the stiffer 34 fork and carbon frame. I'm sure that makes a great bike even better! Big chunk of change though.

If you like active suspension and don't mind a long front triangle (specialized has always had an inch longer top tube than everyone else) I'd go for it.

    Happy shopping!

I have the early aluminum version and it rocks. I have it setup more as a trail bike vs. XC and it is a blast to ride. If I only owned one bike I think it would be the one.

I will be demoing a cannondale trigger 29 1 today and see how that feels also. Never thought I word ride a lefty but I will try them all to see what feels best. I know the cannondale is a heavy bike coming in at about 34 lbs for a large.

I'd love a LeftyMax on my FSR. I've had Lefty's in the past and they rock!
Not sold on the Dyad shock though.

Yea that was one thing I had a bad feeling about also. It just seems like they would be able to stream line it a bit. There is a lot of stuff cluttered down there!

I'm not a big fan of travel adjust suspension and the Dyad looks like a lot to go wrong.

I've had Cannondales before and really liked them. I like the Trigger and would consider it just for the fact that it has a SuperMax on it but the Dyad keeps me away. It would be nice if the could spec it with and without with the same component specs.
