Buying Foundry Broadaxe tomorrow (B3 - 2013) unless there's a reason not to..

My LBS has one in my size on sale for $1,699 - it's the 2013 B3 build w X7, Reba RL, WTB saddle, Stan's Arch on X9 hubs, Elixer 3s, Truvativ Stylo parts.

Fits great and seems like a good bike for reintroducing me to mtb -- I'll be riding in Portland, lots of fire-roads and singletrack and climbing.

The msrp is listed at $2,999, but their new model x7 build is msrp $1,999...so, am I getting a good deal? Was there a big change in their 2013 to 2014 models?

Good deal? ...Carbon frame, Reba RL, Arch wheels, etc for 1,699. Yes, its very a good deal.

Throw in the warranty, its Black and fits the riding you will do. I'd say buy it.

    Have Fun.

Bought it. Putting pedals on and headed out shortly. I'll be needing a post w setback and a tubeless kit, but other than that, think I'm pretty well set..

let me know how you like it and how it rides/handles! I am thinking about getting a Broadaxe or tomahawk.

Just curious, what does the bike weigh? Carbon frame with X9 should be a light rig!
