Here's my Titus Fireline Ti swoops downtube prototype by Van Nicholas from On-One. I made singlespeed forkends from 6 mm aluminum plate mostly by hand.
Other parts include Pro carbon fork, On-One Midge bar, Avid BB7 + CC Drop-V, Fixie Inc. hubs, Notubes Crest 29er hoops, Nobby Nics at 2.35 wide run tubeless and a few Ritchey parts here and there. I have a carbon seatpost but I want to change the clamp to a wider one before making the switch. Also I feel that the fork is a bit short at 465 mm a-c (80 mm equiv.), so I ordered a Soul Cycles steel fork with 485 mm a-c, so the geometry will be like the frame was designed.
You're just a couple of changes away from hitting every niche in the book. Pop in a Pug wheel and throw on a fixed gear and we can start a Fatfrontfixxiedropbar29er thread!
Looking for a little technical help. Looking to convert my Singular Gryphon from SS to gears, while making use of parts I have lying around. Want to set it up 3 x 9, raceface mtb crank, shimano derailleurs, bb7 brakes. Can I set it up with brifters? I read some place that Shimano 10 speed brifters would work - this true? Any experience out there? All help appreciated.

If your BB7's are the road version, then road brifters will work. If they are the mountain version, the cable pull is different (think cantilever vs. v-brake levers), and they will not work well. Shifting should be ok as long and the deraileurs are Shimano.
Pics of the current setup and the parts you want to use may help, of nothing else so we can see another cool Gryphon setup!
1cogfrog, cousinmosquito - thanks for the info. I do have the road BB7s, so that should be good. I didn't realize the pull issue on the front, so something like the cx 70 might be workable. Actually building this up to be a bit of a gravel grinder - and while I am looking for some high gears (to keep up with folks on cross bikes), would also like some lower ones to get up some steep hills when things turn to single track. It's fat bike time here in Canada - so will look for needed parts over the winter.
My Kona Unit, with Salsa Woodchipper bar wich I trimmed 1.5" each side and Schwalbe 1.35" Sammy Slick.
I changed the 18 teeth rear cog for a 14 teeth one to make more speed and I changed the original stem for a shorter one for better positions with the drop bar.
More upgrades will follow.
Greetings Bas.
