Black Niner Carbon Fork, pls helps!!!!!!

    Hi guys,

I am getting a little worry about my new niner carbon fork from my local bike shop. He is the distributor in my country where Niner web site have his company listed.

I am worry because I am afraid I might get the strange black Niner fork because mine is solid graphic black instead of the real carbon wave niner fork where I see many online.

Anyone brothers here have the same color as mine? Or mine is the new color from niner?

    Please..... Anyone?

You're right, the gloss black is not listed on the niner website. I don't know where the serial number is located on the firm, but I would find it and contact Niner and see whether it is authentic or not.

Just send them a email, awaiting for their reply. Am keeping my finger cross.

Anyone else have the same colour as mine?

Yeah, but on the website Licorice black is only a color option for the RDO fork. His does not say RDO near the dropout so looks to be the regular carbon fork...which does not have the Licorice option listed.

Will be interesting to hear what Niner says.

This fork is our 1 1/8 inch 9mm QR drop out carbon fork. Gary did buy this from an approved Niner dealer in Singapore. It has been confirmed.

The pictures are a bit hard to tell due to glare/sunlight but this is the "UD Nude" version of this fork. We changed over from the original, and still pictured on the website, 3k weave fork a while back. The new unidirectional carbon forks are the same look as the tapered and RDO versions.

We still have a few of the original 3k weave forks out there but those only were ever sold in the straight steerer setup.

Enjoy the new fork Gary! Nice looking build you have there.

Thanks for chiming in Brian! Good move by Niner, 3k weave though probably just as strong as unidirectional (carbon quality is the ultimate factor), the 3k weave did make it look cheaper, and unidirectional does look a lot better!

Thanks god!! I trust my local bike shop Lynten(shop owner) but unfortunately the colour itself create lots of misunderstanding as I've never seen those like mine online b4... I even suspect there is "middle men" in between Niner USA and Lynten. Haha...

Good to hear that. Now I can ask mine cousin to call Lynten directly for his new fork.
