Best 29er hardtail up to 2500

Guys could you name some reliable hardtails from 2000 to 2500 (2635 - 3300 $) ? Searching not essentially for known brands, but it would be good if the bike had good all-around staff (brakes, fork etc..).

    thx

    Kona Big Kahuna KONAWORLD

Roughly 1800 euros and stock weight is about 25 pounds. Could easily be brought down to about 24 pounds with some simple upgrades. You get a good frame, fork and wheels with out breaking the bank.

For that kinda money you could even spring for the King Kahuna, the carbon version of the Big Kahuna.

For that kind of money I should hope you know exactly what you are looking for in a hard tail 29er.

That was going to be my original suggestion. Both bikes in my opinion are a great value. The king kahuna does have a nicer wheelset and frame but the rest of the spec is the same.

For 2500, I think you should be going for a Trek X-Caliber.

Jettyoung1999, you have to remember that euros have a lower number on them than would, say dollars. Silly American. For 2500euros, I would personally suggest a Trek Superfly (carbon if possible).

    TREK, Hands down!

Best geometry, warranty... get the AL and still have $1,000 to play with... Or just get the carbon (and upgrade components later)------but the G2 and slack geometry beats anything els out their (in my opinion)--

I just picked up a 2012 Giant XTC 0 29er for $2899 (msrp 3600). The bike was 23.1 lbs on the scale out of the box. I only have one ride on it so far, but I am super impressed so far.
