    Belted Chester

In another thread about the belted Jones a few were asking about the belted Chester herein. All work on the split and the S&S was done by James at Black Sheep. I'm sure a lot of us STILL on the waiting list would love to belt Chester...this frame is one I got used in 2007 while waiting for the one I ordered in 2005 to be built. I'm still waiting.

Yeah, the waiting......My buddy in Flag paid for one in full in '02 and to this day does not have any frame nor his money back yet every once in a while gets an email saying "i'm working on it now and should have it soon".

Belt drive is the way to go IMPO; no lube, faster, smoother, stronger.

Not sure what you mean...are there guides with other belt systems? This is a Center-Track which has a groove in the belt that engages a flange in the pulleys and prevents lateral movement...ie keeps the belt from sliding off the pulley.

Sorry for the stupid question. I wasn't really sure how the belt drive system worked, but that explains it. I guess I'm still a newbie, or just out of date. Either way cool build.
