    Caution;  Merge;  Workers Ahead! Beginner MTB for a 14 year old

    Ok im trying to find a 29er hardtail for a beginner and all im finding are pro bikes that are 800$ and upwards and i dont want to get a walmart bike due to durability problems ive had in the past can somebody help?

    800 is more like a good beginner bike.

    For your purpose, and truely only in this situation... The 29er or even the 26 inch northrock from costco for 399 is perfect.

    fm is a 26". but there are plenty of sub $800 29 HTs
