My contribution. I love the fall, seriously... LOVE
Here's my 2003/2005 Gary Fisher 293 on a recent ride in Idaho's Owyhees. I miss the good ole days back east in Ohio for the fall scenes, but I'm discovering some secret stashes of color in the local area...
Of course there's my requisite 29er and a couple scenic shots from the ride because they were too good not to share.
My new riding buddy Gary rockin' his rigid SS 29er. Made me feel like a wuss on my full sus.
Oops, sorry, I totally spaced that one out!
I'm actually doing some work for the LBS in exchange for a new Trek X-Cal (my first 29er) and I haven't been able to get my head out of 29er land...
Yeah, I'm a little late, but Sunday was an awesome ride. I was 5 hours into a 3 hour tour and decided to take a break before finishing off this trail then enduring a dreaded uphill headwind on the road for the last 3 miles. I took the scenic route about 3 different times and I was toast by the end.

It's a polished granite column from out of the old quarry nearby. Looks like it cracked somewhere along the line in the finishing process, and so became unuseable. Don't know how it ended up over here.
But this isn't all that far out in the woods. It's right off a power line, and there's a couple fairly wide woods roads right here also, and it's not too far from out back of the local Walmart. This is the 'Pillar' end of the Pillar to Pond trail.
Wow you guys have some beautiful trails I love the fall (autumn) colours which we just don't really get here - on the upside we get pretty good weather year round, but I do think we miss out on the beautiful change of seasons that you guys capture in your photos.
