29er Dualie Rentals in Whistler or Vancouver

Hey guys. I'm doing an XC bike tripduring late summer or fall in Whistler. I'm currently rockin' a Stumpy 29 HT and think it's great. So great that I probably won't ever ride a 26 again. That rings me to my point. I need a 29er dualie, preferably a trail bike like a Stumpy FSR, but an all mountain will also work. Does anyone know of a shop or company that rents out 29ers?

Good luck. I ride 29ers almost exclusively where I'm from (midwest), but just got back from a trip to whistler and didn't find any shops renting 29ers... actually I didn't see a single 29er the entire week! Unless you find some shop in Vancouver you'll be out of luck in Whistler.

That said, 26" wheels work fine in Whistler... same as 29" wheels?.. probably not but you'll be having so much fun on the trails you'll forget about wheel size.

Word of warning... 8+ hours in the bike park in a single day is too long! I did 3 days of XC, then the bike park on the 4th day. I ended up having so much fun that I couldn't get myself to stop riding back up the lift and lost track of time.. kept telling myself 'this is the last run'. Not good... I ended up going down hard on one of the easiest runs of the day (crank it up) and got pretty beat up. Man was it worth it though... garbanzo was open and I've never flowed downhill on a bike like that in my life!.. until the crash that is. Set a time and be done then, otherwise you'll be having so much fun you won't be able to stop.

    Bugger!!
Hope I dont get arrested when I show up with mine on the weekend.
I made sure I cleaned it really well but it seems that the real issue wont be dirt but wheel size.
