29" rigid carbon forks and V brakes

    Hi All,

Just wondering who makes a 29" rigid carbon fork that will accept V brakes. I like the looks of the Bontrager Switchblade, but keep seeing them as disc only....

    Thanks,

    John

They're all disc-specific. Even if you could fit Pace's add-on V mounts, the fork might not have the structual support for them.

I have an Origin8 carbon with bosses. Not sure if it is still available but works great!

Yes, Origin 8, as mentioned, is the fork. The canti bosses are removeable as well, if you ever go disc. Available in all black or with white painted crown and dropouts. See this report for more.

I stand corrected, glad Origin8 offers the exception to the rule.
But how do mere Europeans get O8 stuff? I hardly get search hits for it. The hits I get, have silly shippig rates. Thanks!

Check out "Exotic Carbon" forks on Ebay. Same as Origin 8 and White Bros.

Have a friend in the US mail it to you : ) But that Superfly would be silly with discs on the rear and V's on the front.
Thanks to www.weavercycleworks.com for my awesome bike frames!
