29" Reba RLT Ti Dual Air 140mm available without tapered steerer?

Anybody know? Quality has part #'s for it, and says the tapered is adjustable from 140mm down to 80mm but is the 120mm with a 1 1/8 steerer tube adjustable upward's to 140mm? Doesn't seem like they'd make two different versions of the new fork, R & D wise.

The reason being, I want to run the new Cane Creek ANGLESET on the Tracer 29 and have the adjustability of the head angle. However it only runs on full 1 1/8" steerer tube forks.

    Tapered is stronger and stiffer.

To make the 80/100/120mm versions be able to extend to 140mm by removing spacers they would have to make all of those models with extra length of stanchion sitting unused within the fork and making them weigh more. Not really R&D related, just cost savings and marketing and performance for their other XC models. Hence the 140mm is a separate fork, and especially so since the 140mm market is so much smaller and they can force people needing such a fork to get an expensive Blackbox version

Doesn't necessarily explain the lack of 1+1/8 options, but I'm guessing since they didn't want to make two models of fork uppers when most long travel 29er frames are tapered now
