29 inch Action Shot Picture thread.

    OK..

    Let's see some action shots.

What are your 29 inch dweebs riding?

Occasionally I see Aquaholic post some cool sheeeatt, besides that, looks like a bunch of Tarmac

I've thought of a Sultan or a Lenz, but the Koolaide is weak sauce so far. I've ridden with a couple 29ers, aka little bigger wheels, and well, nothing really to make note of..

Prove me wrong Post them photogs..

A few more from the West Hartford Reservoir

Following up on CB2s post, here are a few more from the West Hartford Reservoir. CB2 rides these trails about 10 times faster and better than I do however. These are kind of old, but still action shots nonetheless. Most of my time since September has been spent in the office or in my other office/home - the ice hockey rink.

    The Redline

    The Niner EMD

    The Karate Monkey

For some reason I have no pics of the Inbred at the Reservoir - maybe I didn't have it long enough to capture photos from that spot ( I think I mainly rode that bike at Case Mountain and Grayville).

    Case Mountain and Grayville

Case is very popular here in CT - some say too popular. Still a very fun place to ride though. If you like rocks - Case has got em aplenty!

Grayville has a little bit of everything. I love riding here.

And a few more Karate Monkey shots from the Reservoir as well. I think the Karate Monkey was most fun set up rigid. I think the fork used to be Padre's.

I ride a lot by myself but here is a shot that might qualify as action:

a video of some action riding (if you listen you can hear when I jump the water bars so I guess that also qualifies as "action")

    <object width="425" height="355"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/R09K_jj4F6I&rel=1"></param><param name="wmode" value="transparent"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/R09K_jj4F6I&rel=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="355"></embed></object>

by the way this thread is much better than 29er clique grousing about who is more popular etc.

By chance I ended up taking one of the junior mechanics at the shop I help run on her first mountain bike ride ever.

PS. She bailed like 15 times, went after everything on the trail and said she had an awesome time. Apparently a mountain bike is next on her list.

    Not Action

Not Action - but I do have a pic of the aftermath - and the video of the during at www.imgmagazine.net/ride

Big wheel - definitely not pavement. But it is the parking lot of the Bruce Bike Park

More at www.pedachenko.com - but not necessarily big wheel

Some great pics on here. Gotta start taking more photos while out on rides.

A link to a vid made while riding a 29er. Shot at the US National Whitewater Center. Included the one that has a bit of rafting action going on in the background.

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LXnVFHpcQPU

A few others also in the same folder at youtube. Video quality is pretty crappy once uploaded.

Yep! He's amazing. His age is not a factor.
BTW I rode at Cheseboro today. It is now open.
Had been closed since Sunday due to the fires.

For those of you who don't know. Cheseboro is in the vicinity of Malibu, Southern California where the first fire started last Sunday morning.

    Latest shot of me

Just back for the MTB Himachal 9 day / 700km race in the Indian Himalayas. Pretty amazing riding and a 29er HT singlespeed was a great choice as the 3rd in Solo Men result shows

    Testing out the F29

After much trail testing, I have found AC wheels and a fox f29 to be the ideal dirt jump setup.

Having way too much fun on the new Canzo! First is two days ago, second is this morning after getting above the marine layer. Both pics are the same area of Cerro San Luis, open space surround by the town were I live. They are just different sides of the peak that one can circle or climb..

I'll have that new bike on the trail as soon as I'm set up with a new brace. Prolly around ThnxGvng.

Hopefully, I'll be strong enough to ride w/ folks in another couple of months. Right now, a flat / slow 30 mile road ride is enough to wipe me out.
