Specialized Camber vs Cannondale Beast of the East 2

I am trying to buy a decent, used bike around $1000 dollars and am wondering if these two are worth the money and if one might be a better choice:
One is a 2016 Specialized Camber 650b, the other is a 2017 beast of the east 2, both in good condition, each selling for $1200. The beast is all stock where it counts and the Camber owner says that the drivetrain was rebuilt with Shimano xt parts. Any input?

    I'm looking for a commuter/hard rough trail hitter around $1000, preferably a 650b hardtail.

The Camber is full suspension, the beast of the east is a hardtail. They can't compare since they are two totally different bikes. Really depends on what you want the bike to do, where you plan to ride it and riding style of the rider. And finally the types of trails you plan on riding.
